Trade Publication Spotlights MCC Optics Lab, FWD Center

An article in the May-June issue of Business Facilities magazine highlights partnerships involving K-12 schools and postsecondary institutions across the nation that work to fill labor market demand. MCC is cited among the examples of cities, states, economic development organizations and others working to close the talent gap and foster growth for STEM careers.

"STEM Leaders: This Will Be On The Test" spotlights the Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center and MCC's dual-enrollment optics program and the new optical fabrication lab. The article begins on Page 28 and the report about MCC can be found on Page 88 of Business Facilities. Images on both pages are of MCC's lab and provided by MCC. 

Alfred State College, Alfred University and Houghton College are also featured in an article about higher education partnerships on Page 50.
