Parking for the Fall Semester

As we continue with a unique fall semester and welcome some students, faculty, and staff back to campus, we must make adaptations to the parking routines we have employed for many years.

Since our campus-reopening plan only authorizes one entrance into Brighton Campus buildings at the first (ground) floor of the Spina Administration Building (Building 1), the Department of Public Safety is working to ensure all have convenient and timely access.

With that in mind, faculty and staff should plan to park in Lot K (adjacent to Buildings 8 and 9) while students should plan to park in Lot A (adjacent to Buildings 5 and 6). The Visitors' Lot should remain open for individuals not in those groups who are only coming to campus for a short period. If Lot K is full, Lot J is available. Similarly, once Lot A is full, Lots C and D should be utilized.

The lots on the east side of campus (outside of the Samuel J. Stabins Physical Education Complex & PAC Center/Building 10) remain dedicated to the New York State Department of Health drive-through testing site.

There will be no parking enforcement for the first two weeks of the semester; enforcement activities after that time will be judicious with our key goals being safety and service. Please remember to register your vehicles with Parking Services. Questions regarding parking can be sent to: parkingrequests@monroecc.edu. Parking for the Downtown Campus as well as the Applied Technologies Center will operate as usual, since they have always provided only one entrance. However, those parking in the Downtown underground garage will still need to enter the building through the main entrance.

As the semester progresses, we will continue to monitor the parking situation and determine if changes are needed. Questions can be directed to Parking Services, located within the Brighton Campus' authorized entry checkpoint.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We hope your fall semester is a positive one.
