Passing of Nicole Baxtrum, Mail Services

I am saddened to share with the college community that Nicole Baxtrum, a driver-messenger with Mail Services, passed away on May 14, 2017, after complications from surgery.

Nicole began her career at MCC in 2009 as a part-time guard in the Public Safety Department at the Damon City Campus. In January 2017, she was hired as a full-time driver-messenger with the college's Mail Services.

Faculty and staff members may recall Nicole as a student many years ago. She graduated in 2003 with a communications degree from MCC.

Employees at the Damon City Campus are taking up a collection for Nicole's family in her honor. If you wish to contribute, please send your contributions to Anne Kirkpatrick at DCC 5-058 by the close of business on Tuesday, May 23.
