For the second time since coming to MCC in 2003, Christine Plumeri, Instructor - Sociology, has been nominated for and accepted into Who's Who Among American Teachers, 2006-2007. A student in her Sex & Gender course, Kathleen Manley, a 2007 Human Services graduate, submitted the nomination and has begun working on her bachelor's degree in social work at Keuka College.
Also, in August 2007, Plumeri chaired a roundtable discussion titled "Teaching Macrosociology to Microlevel Thinkers" at the American Sociological Association's meetings at the Hilton New York in NYC.
