Voter Registration Effort Garners TV Coverage

News 8 (WROC-TV) interviewed MCC students and a staff member on National Voter Registration Day (Sept. 25) outside the Leroy V. Good Library where a registration table was set up.

Principal Library Clerk Bess Watts, who coordinated the event with Kendall Bell of the Coalition of Labor Union Women, said they registered 117 new voters on Wednesday. Our thanks to Bess and her team for their efforts in engaging MCC students in democratic practice.
