COVID-19 Vaccination Appointments Still Available for Monday, August 2

MCC strongly encourages you to get vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the start of the fall semester.

Employees are not required to have a COVID-19 vaccination and have the option to voluntarily submit proof of vaccination to MCC’s Human Resources Office. More details about vaccine verification will be shared next week.

COVID-19 vaccination will be required for all in-person SUNY students once one of the vaccines has been fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

MCC will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic exclusively for faculty, staff and students from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. next Monday, August 2 in the Gilman Lounge, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center at the Brighton Campus. The clinic is hosted in partnership with Excellus and KHP Healthcare Services and is brought to you free of charge.

Register using this link https://kinneydrugs.as.me/MonroeCommunityCollege to guarantee your appointment. Walk-in appointments are limited.

Clinic staff will administer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. (Learn more about this vaccine on the CDC website.) Eligible persons must be 12 years of age or older to receive the vaccine. The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine requires two doses; your appointment for the second dose will be scheduled at the clinic.

Prior to your appointment, please complete the attached Covid Vaccine Screening and Consent Form and bring it with you. Forms will also be available at the clinic.

This clinic complements the Monroe County COVID-19 Vaccine site that is open daily from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Downtown Campus. Visit Monroe County’s vaccine web site for more information and to schedule an appointment.
