As I informed the college community earlier, our national search for executive dean at the Damon City Campus did not produce a new dean. My plan was to reinstate a search this spring.
I now understand there are internal candidates interested in the executive dean's position. That is good news for DCC as we have many talented professionals on our staff. Accordingly, I plan to reopen the search to internal candidates only.
We will open the search immediately and begin screening on April 14, 2003. I have asked the search committee to continue serving in this important work.
We will keep the college community advised of our progress.
