Mellon/ACLS Community College Faculty Fellowships

The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) is now accepting applications for Mellon/ACLS Community College Faculty Fellowships.

This prestigious program, now entering its fourth year, offers community college faculty members a $40,000 stipend in support of the faculty member’s proposed research project. ACLS welcomes applications that incorporate student and/or community engagement. Eighty community college faculty across the country have already received these fellowships, including our very own Joel Helfrich (Anthropology/History/Political Science/Sociology). ACLS will name an additional 29 fellows in the coming award cycle.

The application deadline is October 27, 2021 at 9 pm EDT. Potential applicants can learn more about eligibility, application requirements, and evaluation criteria here and review program FAQ here.
