Cooper to Assist CASE in Effort to Meet Community College Advancement Needs

The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has asked Cynthia Cooper, MCC’s assistant to the president for college, community and government relations, to serve on an advisory group charged with helping CASE launch a new Center for Community College Advancement. The Center will provide training and resources to help community colleges build and sustain effective fundraising, alumni relations, communications and marketing programs. The advisory group will help establish priorities, develop communication approaches, and recommend ongoing member and volunteer engagement strategies.

Cynthia also serves on the CASE Commission on Marketing and Public Relations, a group of 17 advancement professionals from around the world that frames and directs research related to communications and marketing programs and activities; evaluates practices and establishes professional standards for the profession; and provides advice and counsel to CASE leadership to ensure that the organization's programs, products and services reflect current knowledge and emerging trends.
