<p>1. Adopted the consent agenda effective March 7, 2022.</p>

<p>3. Authorized the purchase of items over $20,000 as listed for the month of January&nbsp;2022.</p>

<p>5. Adopted the revised &ldquo;Information Technology Security Policy&rdquo; effective March 7, 2022.</p>

<p>6. Approved the continuation of the appointment of Kristin M. Sine-Kinz as the Acting Vice President, Economic Development, Workforce and Career Technical Education, effective March 1, 2022 until the position is filled on a permanent basis; Ms. Sine-Kinz will receive a monthly stipend of $3,250 for each month that she serves in this role.</p>

<p>7. Approved the appointment of Chris Piro as Interim Director of Public Safety, Administrative Services, effective March 7, 2022 until the position is filled on a permanent basis or March 6, 2023, whichever is earlier; Mr. Piro will receive an annual salary of $100,000 while serving in this role.</p>

<p>8. Approved the early retirement incentive for Susan Gunther, Liberty Partnerships,&nbsp;in accordance with Article 50 of the contractual agreement between Monroe Community College and the Faculty Association.&nbsp;</p>

<p>9. Approved the reappointment of Non-Contract, Professional Staff, Faculty, and Technical Assistants/Advisors as listed at the ranks and titles indicated for the 2022 - 2023 academic year or, for 12-month employees, beginning September 1, 2022 and ending August 31, 2023.</p>

<p>10. Approved the promotion of Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Instructors effective September 1, 2022. <p>11. Expressed sincere appreciation to John L. Bartolotta for his dedication to MCC for the past 40 years&nbsp;and named him&nbsp;an Honorary Trustee.</p>

<li>MCC Interim Vice President and CFO Darrell Jachim-Moore&nbsp;regarding the College&rsquo;s interim financial reports as of January 31, 2022.</li>
<li>MCC President Dr. DeAnna R. Burt-Nanna regarding masking on campus becoming optional, reflecting recent updates in state and county guidance;&nbsp;budget advocacy activities including breakfast meetings with members of our state delegation;&nbsp;and the upcoming AACC conference where MCC representatives will present.&nbsp;</li>
<li>As invited by Dr. Burt-Nanna, Director of Institutional Research Dr. William Dixon on the Strategic Plan and factors that influence student success.</li>
<li>Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Belonging Dr. Calvin Gantt on the MCC Scholars partnership with the University of Rochester, MCC's League for Innovation in the Community College Board reaffirmation process and SUNY SAILS activities; Interim Vice President and CFO Darrell Jachim-Moore&nbsp;on Administrative Services activities; Acting Provost and Vice President&nbsp;Dr. Kimberly McKinsey-Mabry on Academic and Student Services activities; Acting Vice President Kristin Sine-Kinz&nbsp;on Economic &amp; Workforce Development &amp; Career Technical Education activities; and Vice President and Executive Director of the MCC Foundation Gretchen Wood on <a href="https://www.monroecc.edu/mccannou.nsf/all+listings/5D77909859B62689852587FE007342F6?OpenDocument">Governor Kathy Hochul's announcement</a> delivered at the Downtown Campus on March 7. <li>MCC Foundation Board of Directors Chair Lori Van Dusen regarding Foundation activities and its consistently impressive Voluntary Support of Education (philanthropy) rankings.</li>
<li>Student Trustee Paula Barlow on Phi Theta Kappa chapter achievements&nbsp;and her leadership and leadership experiences, including her participation in the recent NYCCT Legislative Summit.</li>
<li>Shared Governance representatives including Student Government Association President Isabella DeRubeis; Faculty Senate President Nayda Pares-Kane; Support Staff Planning Council Co-chair Diane Wilson; and Dr. Burt-Nanna&nbsp;representing Administration.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Faculty Association President Bethany Gizzi regarding state budget advocacy activities, participation in NYSUT Legislative sessions, and encouraged investment in MCC faculty and staff and the contract negotiation process.</li>
<li>CSEA leaders&nbsp;did not provide an update.</li>
</ul>

The Trustees then conducted&nbsp;an Executive Session pursuant to Public Officers Law &sect;105, subsection (f): the medical, financial, credit, or employment history of a particular person or corporation, or matters leading to the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal, or removal of a particular person or corporation.&nbsp;</p>

News from the March 7 MCC Board of Trustees Meeting

The MCC Board of Trustees met in person at the Downtown Campus as well as virtually on Monday, March 7, 2022 and took the following actions:

1. Adopted the consent agenda effective March 7, 2022.
