Patrick Callan of the English/Philosophy Department has been accepted to the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) American Studies Ph.D. program for Fall 2004. While continuing full-time at MCC, Callan will study part-time in Buffalo's interdisciplinary doctoral program in American Studies, and looks forward to extending his knowledge particularly in the areas of American, Asian-American, and Native-American cultures and literatures.
