Hospitality Students, Food for Thought Featured in Article, Video

Democrat and Chronicle's culinary writer Tracy Schuhmacher and photographer Carlos Ortiz visited Food for Thought on MCC's Brighton Campus earlier this month for an article about area student-run restaurants offering budget-friendly meals while providing hospitality students with valuable hands-on experience.

Drew Lawrence, assistant professor of hospitality management, and several of his students were interviewed for the article. The writer complimented MCC students on their cooking and baking. Photos and a video featuring some of their dishes accompanied the article online. Many thanks to Drew and Hospitality Professor Diane Cheasty for working with the students that day.
