President's Wednesday Message

As I sat down to write this week’s Wednesday Message, I began to reflect.  Just as we’re nearing the end of the traditional academic year, I’m nearing the end of my first official year at MCC.  One of my goals from the beginning has been to increase communications between my office and the college community.  To this end, I’ve begun several ventures:  my ongoing Twitter feed, the weekly “Wednesday Message,” the monthly “Ask Anne Anything” sessions,  the twice yearly “Message to the College Community” forums, and the standing offer to visit departments and offices.

It seems a good time to get a sense from you about the effectiveness of these efforts.  So, I’ve created a short, ten question survey to get your feedback.  The survey will be open until next week Tuesday, May 11, so I hope you will take the time to comment.  All responses are anonymous, so please provide details about what’s working and what isn’t.  You can find the Communication Efforts survey at

Thank you in advance for your help!
