I join the college community in mourning the death of MCC retiree Barbara Hasbrouck.
Barbara, who began her MCC career in 1976 as a typist/clerk in Health Services, retired in 1993 as a Clerk III from the Telecommunications Department. Known for her cheerful personality, dependability, superior skills and work ethic, she was an asset in every position she held.
Barbara's daughter Terry Plumart is an Admissions retiree and son-in-law Jacque Plumart is employed in MCC's Registration & Records Office.
Calling hours for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, April 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home, 3325 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory Street, Rochester, NY 14620.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.
