As an employee, Jodi also helped establish MCC’s Leadership Institute; the Visiting Scholars Series, and Scholars’ Day. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member, guest lecturer and Phi Theta Kappa honor society advisor. She volunteers for many organizations, including the American Cancer Society Fundraisers, Rochester Clean Sweep, and Leopold Daycare Center. She has received several awards including the League of Innovation Award and Distinguished Phi Theta Kappa Advisor Award in 2005 and 2010.

After graduating from MCC, Jodi earned her bachelor of science degree in psychology from The College at Brockport and master of science degree in student personnel in higher education from Buffalo State.

She was nominated by Professor Sharon L. Dobkin, Ph.D. and MCC Trustee Howard Konar.

The MCC Alumni Hall of Fame was established in 1992 to honor the outstanding achievements of MCC graduates. There are currently 67 members of the hall of fame.
