Since MCC's transition to distance learning and remote operations in mid-March, the child care center on the Brighton Campus has continued providing full-day care for children.

Approximately five to 11 children ranging in age from 8 weeks to 5 years receive care Monday through Friday.

Parents using the child care services include health care and human services professionals in Monroe County as well as MCC students in need of support so they can focus on their studies.

Best practices and procedures for maintaining a healthy, safe environment are in place at the child care center. Meals are provided through the college's food services vendor while access to the campus remains limited to essential personnel only.
