Some Monroe Community College students are volunteering their time outside the classroom to help the less fortunate.
The MCC Travel Club is busy sorting and packing up gently used and new clothing items donated by staff, students and faculty.
The effort is part of the club's commitment to community service. The clothes will benefit the Open Door Mission in Rochester.
MCC's Damon Campus is also collecting winter clothes.
The clothing drive continues through the end of the week.
