Help Build a Fresh Water Well in Sudan

Each day hundreds of thousands of people in Sudan and greater East Africa walk for hours through the desert to collect water to drink. Often the water is contaminated by bacteria and is dangerous to drink.

There’s a way you can help!

Students involved in the Holocaust Genocide Studies Project will be selling green “Remember a Life, by Saving a Life” bracelets in the Flynn Campus Center Atrium on March 26, 28 and 30 between 10 am and 2 pm. The bracelets cost $2 each and the money will support Water for Sudan, a non-profit organization that was launched by MCC alumnus Salva Dut (www.waterforsudan.org).

The Project is working to raise $5,000 in order to build a new fresh water well in Southern Sudan.

Please stop by the Project table this week to support this effort and help transform lives in Sudan!
