Passing of George Haines, father of John Haines

George Haines, father of John Haines, Senior Labor Foreman in Building Services, passed away on June 5. George was a WW II veteran who served as a Private First Class Army Scout in the Pacific theater, and he had 40 years of service at Eastman Kodak. During his retirement, he volunteered at Greece Volunteer Ambulance, Unity Hospital and Honor Flight Rochester.

Calling hours are 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 11, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue, 14616. A Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am in the church sanctuary.
