Latest MCC Brief Focuses on Civic Engagement
Our May brief for key stakeholders, entitled “Civic Engagement,” highlights some of the ways MCC is working to make the Rochester area a better place to live and work.
The attached brief highlights April's Enough is Enough campaign, the MCC-hosted Rochester AmeriCorps program, and English Faculty Member Kathy Buckert's efforts to incorporate social justice as a theme in her English101 classes, The brief also includes information on the College's new Center for Outreach and Volunteer Engagement (COVE) as well as Dental Studies outreach efforts to improve the oral health of Rochester's children.
We hope you find this information useful. Thank you for all you do to support and inspire our students.
