Salvador Receives Distinguished College Administrator Award

In recognition of her many years of outstanding support, Susan Salvador, Vice President, Student Services, has been honored with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s Distinguished College Administrator Award.  She will receive her award this month during Phi Theta Kappa's Annual Convention, which draws nearly 3,500 individuals to celebrate student academic achievement.

Notable is the fact that nomination for this award is student-based.   An essay submission highlighted the exceptional support, direction, encouragement, and opportunities that Dr. Salvador fosters for Monroe Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa Chapter members.  “Every college should be as lucky as MCC is to have a Dr. Salvador as an administrator.  She has a passion for encouraging everyone she meets to succeed, and is a leader in every sense of the word.”  (Robin Goodwin, MCC PTK Chapter Vice President)
