Reminder - Relationship-Rich Faculty Advisee Lunches

Reminding faculty to invite your advisees to lunch!

Building on the concepts in Relationship-Rich Education, we would like to encourage faculty to take assigned advisees out to lunch between February 14th and April 14th by providing the meals for you.  We know that faculty connections can make a difference in whether students see themselves as belonging in college and having a viable path in their career.

LOGISTICS UPDATE

Brighton

  • Faculty will need to call Food for Thought at least one business day in advance to make a reservation 292-FOOD (3663).
  • Provide your name and the total number of your party (maximum of 3 students per reservation).

Downtown (Thursday March dates have been removed since lunch is being provided for students on those dates)

  • Lunch will be provided 11:30am – 1:00pm for faculty who RSVP:
    • Tuesday, April 5
  • Breakfast 8am – 9:30am:
    • Monday, April 11
  • Email srappenecker@monroecc.edu with your preferred date and the names of the advisees who will join you (maximum of 4 students per event) before noon on the Friday before that date.
