Managing Anxiety with the Return to Campus

College students are no strangers to anxiety, but the 2020-2021 school year has been particularly anxiety-provoking for many students. COVID-19 has caused significant changes to the college experience; the pandemic amplified already existing sources of stress such as grades, finances, homesickness and significantly impacted student mental health and wellness. In fact, a recent BestColleges survey found that 45% of students whose campuses closed due to the pandemic experienced increased anxiety.

BestColleges.com has created a guide for students, which covers the definition of anxiety, symptoms, and helpful tips for easing anxious feelings about returning to campus, and we encourage you to refer to the BestColleges.com website.

We wish you all the best as you kick off this new semester with your fellow colleagues. As always, please encourage your students to reach out to us if they are in need of additional support.

Warmly,
