MCC Provost and VP for Academic Services Dr. Andrea Wade Announces Her Departure from MCC

Monroe Community College Provost and Vice President for Academic Services Dr. Andrea Wade announced her plan to leave MCC on December 31, 2021.

Please join me in acknowledging Dr. Wade’s numerous and transformative contributions to MCC during her more than six-year tenure as Provost that began in 2015. While Dr. Wade has decided it is time for a professional transition, immediately following her departure, she also plans to attend to the needs of her parents who live in Washington state.

As a locally, regionally and nationally recognized leader in higher education, Dr. Wade’s professionalism and influence will have an impact on our institution for years to come.

I know you join me in appreciation of Dr. Wade’s exceptional service to MCC. We wish her every success in the next chapter of her career and the very best as she cares for her family.

The appointment of an Acting or Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Services will be announced early next week.
