Over the next two months we will be replacing old mechanical equipment and systems that affect Building 1. During these modifications, climate control systems for the building will be stressed. Hotter than normal days will be especially tough on the existing equipment (and, therefore, our valued occupants). To minimize potential discomfort, we plan to start air systems earlier in the morning - or have them run continuously - but sometimes room temperatures will be higher than either you or we would like. The good news is that when the work is complete the new system will make heating and cooling conditions much more comfortable than they have been in the past.
Additionally, the north hallway on the first floor will be closed for a short time as equipment is removed and new equipment installed. We have provided detour signage and maps.
