Dr. Keys Elected to RRLC Board of Trustees

Terry Keys, assistant vice president, instructional services for academic services, has been elected to serve a five-year term (2014 - 2019) on the Rochester Regional Library Council (RRLC) Board of Trustees, representing community colleges.  The Council is a regional, non-profit cooperative library network, chartered by the Board of Regents.  It is part of a coordinated statewide program for access to and dissemination of library materials.  The Council serves libraries in Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, and Wyoming Counties.  The responsibilities and duties of the trustees are described in New York State Education Law.  Under the law, the board is responsible for establishing council policies and for overseeing the financial, legal, and personnel management of the organization.  The members of the board of trustees are leaders in the educational, business, and professional communities in the five-county region served by the RRLC and represent the diverse library community within the service area.
