Nate Richardson receives "Ring of Honor" from Camp Good Days

Congratulations to MCC Facilities Grounds Crew member Nate Richardson for being inducted into Camp Good Days’ "Ring of Honor”.

Nate Richardson is a long-term childhood cancer survivor!  In addition to merely beating the odds, Nate continues his involvement in the fight against childhood cancer having been involved with Camp Good Days since it started in 1980.

The Ring of Honor, which was established as part of Camp Good Days’ 25th Anniversary Celebration in 2004, is the highest honor bestowed by the Camp on those who have gone above and beyond in their outstanding dedication, commitment and support of the children and families they serve.

Nate, a camp volunteer who also serves on the Board of Directors, was first recognized with this honor at the Annual Holiday Party in 2007. Recently, this was followed up with a ceremony this summer at Camp, placing Nate’s (and six other honorees names’) in the permanent Ring of Honor Area, located at the Camp Good Days’ Recreational Facility in Branchport, NY, for all to see.

You may see Nate plowing snow for us in the winter or running the largest lawn mower Campus has during the summer.  Our thanks to Nate for not only doing a good job here at MCC as a member of our Grounds Crew, but thanks also for the good work you do in the community at large.  Keep It Up!

Way to go and congratulations, Nate!
