Laurie Palmer Helps Others Reduce Fatigue Caused by Shift Work


The Student Voice published an article by Associate Professor of Nursing Laurie Palmer, RN, MS, AOCN in its Fall 2010 issue. The article, entitled “Transitioning to Shift Work: Tips to Reduce Fatigue”  points out how shift work – as a student or professional – takes a toll on personal health and can leave you “feeling mentally and physically exhausted or stressed.”

The article points out ways to get enough sleep, increase your energy level and stay awake during night shifts.
