Drawing on her dissertation research, Eileen Radigan presented at the American Educational Research Association annual meeting that was held April 8th – 12th in Washington, DC. Her two presentations focused on the inclusive philosophies, dispositions, and practices of novice teachers and were based on papers titled “Critical Dispositions: Classroom Approaches Fostered by the Integration of Disability Studies in Teacher Education” and “Illusion of Inclusion in Public and Private School Settings: Exclusive Practices and Students with Disabilities.” Her second paper and presentation were co-constructed with Dr. Julia M. White from Syracuse University, her former advisor and dissertation chair at the University of Rochester.
