From his home in New Zealand, alumnus and former local basketball standout Tony Webster recently sent well wishes to retiring President Tom Flynn via the college’s online virtual guestbook. His note caught the eye of the Rochester Business Journal which included it in its August 22 column, “The Loop.”
“You may not remember me but I was a student at MCC in ’79 and ’80,” Tony wrote. “I just wanted to say thanks for giving me the opportunity to play basketball and get a great education….”
