MCC Admissions in New York City

In early April the Admissions Office, led by Davon Jackson, hosted an overnight bus trip for accepted NYC students. Due to the success of the bus trip, Davon and Demetrius Rhodes traveled to NYC last week to continue recruitment efforts. Twenty-six students were registered with full-time schedules for the fall semester at the SUNY Welcome Center.

Throughout their time in the City Davon and Demetrius visited seventeen schools in Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens where they presented to prospective students and met with high school counselors. They also attended the SUNY College Fair and the Lower East Side College Fair.

Thank you to Jeffrey Ferrara, Andrew Eggleston, Adam Eaton, and Denise Klein for assisting with this important recruitment activity.
