Congratulations to Judy Hill, Chemistry and Geosciences, and Tish Williams, Grants, for recently earning Competent Toastmaster awards through their participation in the MCC Toastmasters Club. Both Hill and Williams completed 10 speeches from the Communication and Leadership program to earn the awards. Each speech gave them an opportunity to hone their public speaking skills and explore topics of interest within a supportive group atmosphere.
With the new year just over two weeks away, make a resolution to invest in your future by growing your leadership and communication skills . Check out an MCC Toastmasters Club meeting and see how uplifted and motivated you feel after the meeting.
Upcoming meetings will be held on January 9 and 23 at 4:45 pm in the Brighton Room (3-217) on the Brighton Campus. Everyone is welcome to attend.
