MCC Toastmasters Help Lead Leadership Institute at RIT

On Saturday, July 21, MCC Toastmasters Alex Turner, Corey Wilson, Sam Otto and Rosanna Yule helped lead and presented at the Toastmasters District 65 Leadership Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology. Approximately 100 Toastmasters from throughout Upstate New York attended the Institute which provided inspiration and direction for members serving in officer roles during 2018-2019.

As Division B Director, Alex managed event planning and logistics and recruited volunteer presenters. Sam called the opening meeting to order and kept the sessions on track time wise. Alex and Corey presented on the importance of having a distinguished club. Rosanna presented on public relations to support club achievement and member recruitment.

Please note: Due to another special District 65 event this evening, the next meeting of the MCC Toastmasters Club will be held next Tuesday, July 31 at 5:30 pm in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center (Empire Room). All are welcome to attend.
