10 Day Real Food Challenge begins Today!

March is National Nutrition Month that was created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing heathful eating and physical activity habits.

The MCC Wellness Council will be hosting a 10 Day Real Food Challenge starting on March 22 and finishing out the month on March 31.

The goal of the 10 Day Real Food Challenge is to motivate and encourage employees to incorporate simple changes that can lead to long term healthy lifestyles. It's not only what we eat that matters, but how much we eat and where we eat it. This challenge will introduce one new challenge each day, building on previous activities. At the end of the challenge, participants will have incorporated and practiced different eating habits and dietary strategies, which may lead to long term change.

If you are interested in joining our challenge, please email MCCWellness@monroecc.edu. We will create a distribution list and send you the new challenge each day.
