Mosley, Coleman named Teddi T scholarship recipients

MCC basketball players Vince Mosley (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla/Dillard) and Dawn Coleman (Queens, NY/Francis Lewis) were named recipients of the Teddi T Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship is presented in the memory of Teddi Mervis, who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 1979 at the age of nine.  Teddi's father, Gary Mervis, founded Camp Good Days and Special Times during Teddi's battle. To this day Camp Good Days provides a residential camping program as well as year-round events and activities for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life challenges.

Mosley, a sophomore forward, leads the MCC men's team in scoring and rebounding.  Coleman, a sophomore guard, averages more than 11 points per game and is among the team leaders in rebounds, assists, and steals.
