Seven sophomore members of the MCC women's soccer team have been offered scholarships to NCAA Div. I schools. Kelly Bailie, Kristina Christofori, and Shana Thomas recently signed national letters of intent to attend Syracuse University, a member of the Big East conference. Rachel Petrillo, the Lady Tribunes sweeper, will attend Charleston Southern University and will be competing in the Big South conference. Kim Bortle is leaning toward Charleston Southern, but has also been actively recruited by University of Pittsburgh, Central Michigan and Green Mountain College. Anna Marshall, a two sport All-American at MCC and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, has signed to play soccer and softball at Niagara University. Sarah Faker, an outside midfielder for the Lady Tribunes, is deciding between Central Michigan, Clarion University and SUNY Geneseo.
