An article in Sunday’s edition of the Democrat and Chronicle touted local community colleges and their successes in helping students gain meaningful employment and meeting employers’ need for skilled workers. It focused specifically on MCC’s HVAC/R and radiologic technology programs for their high student enrollment and strong job prospects for graduates. The reporter quoted MCC student Robert Harmon; Kevin French, chair of Applied Technologies; and Eileen Doyle, director of Radiologic Technology.
A photo of students participating in hands-on training in the Energy Management class at ATC accompanied the article.
