Grzelak Elected to Lead Business Officers Association

Vice President Chet Grzelak, Administrative Services, was elected president of the New York State Community College Business Officers Association (CCBOA) at its most recent spring conference held in Canandaigua. This is a well deserved recognition of Chet’s leadership role in the organization over the past years. His most recent role in the organization was that of first vice president.

The purpose of the CCBOA is to develop and foster sound relationships between member institutions. To serve as a resource to its members in accomplishing their educational mission through the exchange of information and direction to develop sound educational business administration practices. To encourage commonality in developing professional ideas and professional standards between and among member institutions.

The association also provides opportunities to its members for professional growth and development, to promote and support innovative efforts to improve techniques and methods in all areas of college administration and to cooperate with and support other governmental agencies/associations in achieving goals and objectives which are consistent with offering a quality educational experience.

We extend our congratulations to Chet and wish him much success in his role as president.
