Tech Tips - Using Perceptive Content (formerly known as Image Now) from Off-Campus

It is imperative to close or exit Perceptive Content (formerly known as Image Now) when you are done using it. If it remains open and you are timed out, you will not be able to get back in without killing that process or rebooting.

How can I tell if I timed out?

  • Perceptive Content won't load or open.
  • You might be able to find a small horizontal (around 1") white rectangle with a Perceptive Content yellow ball in it.

What can I do?

  • If you find the white rectangle - hover on the ball. You should get an option to exit.
  • After you exit, Perceptive Content should close.
  • Click to open Perceptive Content and you should see the log on screen.

Still not working?

The Employee Technology Support Center is open from 8:45am to 4:45pm Monday through Friday. You can submit a ticket from myMCC > Employees > Technology Help > Technology Service Support & Requests > Create or View Technology Support Requests or call and leave a voicemail at 292-TECH (8324) option 3 for Employees, and then option 3 again to leave a message. Please be sure to leave a personal phone number that you can be reached at if leaving a voicemail.

Remember to close or exit Perceptive Content before you end your remote session.
