Presidential Search Updates

The Presidential Search Committee is pleased to announce that the search for MCC's next president is underway. The committee held its first meeting on August 31st and was joined by SUNY Chancellor Malatras, as well as Senior Vice Chancellor Duncan-Poitier and Assistant Vice Chancellor Miller.

The Presidential Search page is continually being updated to reflect information about the search. The job has been posted on HigherEdJobs.com, and is being advertised by the Pauly Group on Twitter and LinkedIn, and with the Lincoln Institute for Sitting Black Presidents, the Hispanic Council, and Diverse Issues in Higher Education.

The Pauly Group is accepting applications for the position. We anticipate closing the search posting on September 21st in order to interview semi-finalists in late October. The Search Committee will recommend 3-5 Finalists to the Board of Trustees for interviews in November. At that time, there will be opportunities for the college community to interact with the candidates and submit feedback via surveys.
