MCC basketball players Raheem Singleton and Shanee Williams were named the MCC Athletes of the Week.
Singleton helped the MCC men's team record stay perfect with two more wins over the weekend. The sophomore averaged 13.5 points and three rebounds per game and finished 13-for-14 from the free throw line as the Tribunes defeated Finger Lakes CC 105-65 and Delaware Tech 82-68.
Williams averaged 15 points and five rebounds per game as the Lady Tribunes finished 1-2 on a trip to Florida. Her biggest effort came in a win over Pensacola Junior College, when the freshman hit six 3-pointers and finished with 26 points. Williams hit 11 3's in the three games.
