Upgrades to our Phone System Voice Recognition System Wednesday Evening

On Wednesday evening 9/15/21 Technology Services will be launching an enhanced version of the voice recognition system that answers calls to the MCC main number (292-2000) and directs callers to requested individuals or departments.  The upgrade to the voice recognition system will improve accuracy in routing callers to the proper person or department and will make the caller’s experience more welcoming.  The new voice recognition system is adaptive and learns with each phone call.  If you experience an issue when calling 292-2000 or encounter a caller who was mistakenly routed, please note who the caller was trying to reach, along with the date and time of the call.  If you would then leave a message at x2076 with this information, Technology Services and our vendor can fine tune the system.
