MCC and Seneca Falls Dialogues, October 23-24

As many of you know, MCC has played a highly visible role in supporting the biannual Seneca Falls Dialogues since its inception. This year, our own Christina Lee is one of the three principle organizers, and she and her two colleagues have done a beautiful job putting together a vibrant, vital, diverse, remote, and free-of-charge experience beginning 4 PM Friday, October 23, and ending 6 PM Saturday, October 24.

Here's the link to the conference schedule and registration: https://senecafallsdialogues.com/call-for-dialogues-page/.

The conference begins October 23 with a social hour, a keynote address by Michelle Schenandoah of the Oneida Nation Wolf Clan, and a musical performance by Danielle Ponder. It runs through October 24 with breakout interactive dialogue sessions around multiple themes, a musical performance by the University of Rochester's Women's Chorus, and a closing address featuring the Reverand Jacqui Palmer and singer/songwriter/artist/activist Aly Palmer, best known for her work with BETTY.

Whether you and/or your students attend the entire conference, or whether you handpick certain events and/or dialogues, this conference provides the opportunity to engage with teachers, students, artists, and activists from around the country during this pivotal moment in American history.

Please contact Maria Brandt at mbrandt@monroecc.edu or Christina Lee at clee40@monroecce.edu with any questions. We hope to see you there!
