VP Oldham to Appear on WROC-TV

MCC recently launched SkillsMatch, a tool that matches one's personal skills and interests to regional job openings and educational opportunities at MCC, under the leadership of Vice President Todd Oldham.

Dr. Oldham was interviewed this week by WROC-TV's Mark Gruba to discuss how the tool works and what the goal is for offering it. Tune in to Channel 8 to learn more. The segment is scheduled to air around 6:15 a.m. Monday, March 8.

Another media outlet, the Rochester Business Journal, posted an article this week, "MCC’s SkillsMatch pairs individual assets with job pathways." Dr. Oldham is quoted:

“People are ready to safely get back to work while regional employers in growing industries tell us they are struggling to find qualified workers. Through SkillsMatch, MCC connects students’ talents and interests to specific skills and educational opportunities that align with careers most in demand. The addition of SkillsMatch complements our workforce development mission in the community and will be a valuable tool in a post-COVID-19 recovery."
