Two Weeks in a Row: No New Cases of COVID-19 on Campus

Out of the 1,215 pooled tests MCC conducted last week, no positive cases of COVID-19 were identified. That’s two weeks in a row! Thank you for protecting your health and that of others on campus and within our community.

Currently:

  • No students are isolating on campus.
  • 6 students are isolating off campus.
  • 2 students are in mandatory quarantine off campus.

MCC Testing Stats to Date:

  • 23,462 completed COVID-19 pooled tests
  • 41 total cases identified among students and employees through pooled testing.
  • 0.17% positivity rate.

This week, pooled testing sessions will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4 and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5 in the Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus. No appointment necessary.  

MCC adheres to state and county guidelines and requires mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing, respiratory etiquette, and daily health self-assessments on campus. Please check the SUNY COVID-19 Case Tracker for the latest information.
