Student members in Monroe Community College’s Pan African Club and the Black Student Union are helping stock the kitchen cabinets of survivors of Hurricane Katrina who are living in Rochester. The students so far have delivered $40.95 worth of food items to The Tabernacle of Joyful Praise SDA Church, which is preparing apartments for the Gulf Coast survivors, and they continue to collect donations.
Students are collecting the following non-perishables through Nov. 14. Faculty, staff and students can drop off items at the Pan African Club Office in 3-138Q or Black Student Union in 3-138M, both on the Brighton Campus. Your help is tremendously appreciated!
