Gretchen Wood appointed as MCC Foundation Chief Advancement Officer and Executive Director

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gretchen Wood as Chief Advancement Officer and Executive Director of the MCC Foundation approved by the MCC Board of Trustees on August 14. Gretchen will assume this new role effective September 1.

Gretchen earned a BA in English from Syracuse University and a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in nonprofit management from The College at Brockport. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including her service to the MCC Foundation as its Director of Donor Engagement for the past six years. She is a Certified Fundraising Professional and serves as Treasurer and President-elect of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Genesee Valley Chapter. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education District II, a professional association serving the needs of educational institutions and advancement professionals.
