President's Wednesday Message

In Spring, literally and figuratively, our college is in bloom. Throughout the winter, our outstanding faculty and staff have nurtured, mentored, and inspired our students, and over the next few weeks, we have a chance to celebrate the results of this work. And, there is much to celebrate!

Our students have grown into artists, writers, scientists, programmers, entrepreneurs, activists, and athletes. They have engaged difficult ideas, diverse populations, and differing points of view. They have seized leadership opportunities with both hands—and had leadership responsibilities thrust upon them. Our students have found their voices and made time to listen. They tried on future selves and, in so doing, created reality of their dreams.

You have been there from the beginning; you made this possible.

Your recognition of their achievement matters so very much to our students. They will look for you at their art show, concert, awards ceremony, convocation, and graduation. Your sharing of their celebration will make it all the sweeter.

Thank you for making time to honor our students! Please share your thoughts on the blog.
