Lauren Pivnick, associate professor of Sociology, and Marlene Goho, coordinator, Faculty Association, presented a workshop entitled, “Union Building: Coalitions” at the 25th annual NYSUT Community College Conference in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. on Nov. 7-9. The workshop highlighted the Faculty Association’s involvement with the Rochester Labor Council and the collaborative projects that have resulted, including a labor history video Pivnick co-produced entitled, “Struggle in Smugtown: Rochester Workers, Radicals, and Reformers.”
