No New COVID Cases, Pooled Testing Sessions Today and Tomorrow

Last week, MCC pooled testing identified no positive cases of COVID-19 on campus. Thank you to those who participated.

This week, pooled testing sessions will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. today, May 24 and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, May 25 in the Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus. No appointment necessary. Results will be directly emailed to you from “Clarifi” (sender email address: no-reply@mail.clarifi-covid-19.com). These emails are safe to open. Results are also available on the SUNY Upstate Medical website.

MCC adheres to state and county guidelines and requires mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing, respiratory etiquette, and daily health self-assessments on campus. At this time, COVID-19 vaccinations are not required to come to campus.

Currently, no students are isolating or in mandatory quarantine.

MCC testing stats to date:

  • 25,231 completed COVID-19 pooled tests; 332 completed tests last week.
  • 42 total cases identified among students and employees through pooled testing.
  • 0.17% positivity rate.
